I completely agree with the previous review. Excellent old pub with mixed customer base. The Draught Bass is the best I have had in Plymouth: it is served straight from the barrel without pumps & pipes spoil it - nectar! Because it is so good there is a rapid turnover which helps the quality. What is the opposite of a viscous circle?
